Thermal Management & Precision Engineering
Naeco has a proven track record as a global provider of thermal management; designing and manufacturing cold plate cooling systems and heat exchangers for the most demanding thermal management applications.
These range from fan cooled cold plates to RAM air powered cooling systems, for ACMs and outboard liquid to air cooled pods .
Naeco also manufactures large cold plates up to 5 metres long x 2.5 metres wide.
Liquid Flow Through Heat Exchangers
When dealing with very high heat fluxes liquid flow through heat exchangers are the ideal high-performance solution. By utilising the latest CFD software, empirical data, and extensive design and manufacturing experience, Naeco is able to predict performance with a high degree of accuracy.
Vacuum Brazing Air Flow Performance Fin
With ever increasing power requirements in more compact configurations, performance fin cold plates are meeting this demand. Folded fin has the ability to enable engineers to have a greater surface area coupled with superior turbulent flow whilst maintaining low pressor drop.
This technology is predominantly used in cold plates, heat exchangers and air cooled chassis for industry sectors dealing with moderate to high watt densities, namely;- Radar, Satcom, and high power computing.
Vacuum Brazed & Dip Brazed Waveguides
Naeco’s manufacturing incorporates brazing waveguide networks with Integrated cooling as well as RF networks & antennas with interconnecting waveguide couplers & flanges.
Dip Brazing is a joint technology that has superior fillet control enabling :
- EMI Shielding
- Leak Proof joints for pressurization of W/G
- Multiple joint coupling & flanges brazed simultaneously
- Minimum Distortion
Large Cold Plates
up to 5 Metres Long
Naeco with its large machining centres and large vacuum ovens have a proven track record of processing large cold plates from 5 metres long x 1.5 metres wide.
Naeco has consistently supplied large cooling system, mainly to suit Land and Ship radar, which provides scanning capabilities for detecting all airborne targets ( UAVs , Rotary wing , border surveillance and for Tactical Ballistic Missile).
This includes large liquid cooled antenna faces plus structural panels with integrated cooling and waveguide.
Naeco has supplied large brazed machined Housings for PODS up to 2.8 metres long.
Design & Testing
NAECO offers a complete design package – from an initial concept to a finished manufactured and qualified article.
Naeco also performs design verification and qualification testing.
